On this throwback Thursday, I’m throwing it back to this past summers wedding. Matt and Kristine were married on a beautiful September day. What I loved most about the day, was that they were our first couple to utilize Lippincott Manor’s “First Look” location on the property. It was gorgeous!
One amazing and romantic love story, two insanely good looking people, and two photographers who had the honor of capturing a beautiful fall wedding. I am super excited to begin sharing some of my weddings from this past wedding season. We are going to start with Matt + Micaran.
Does life ever get so busy for you? When I started the 2017 wedding season, I did not anticipate how busy Rachel and I would be. We have so much to catch you up on. For example, Rachel is expecting her first baby in January. And I got to experience life of working two jobs while juggling motherhood. As we wrap up the year, we are going to catch you up on some of our busyness.
First up, lets take a look at a beautiful’s couple wedding that kick started our wedding season! You may recall their engagement session that we did in New York City!
These three photos gets me a little teary eyed. I love capturing the grooms expression of his bride walking down the aisle.
I have a whole new respect for long distance relationships. In fact, I’m getting more and more military couples with the same story. Most of the wedding planning from this couple was done from afar. Military couples know best that true love can stand the test of distance and time.
Jon and Lindsay truly personified what love is and Rachel and I had the honor of having front row seats to witness it. They got married at the Thayer Hotel, located at West Point, during the winter season. During their first look, they exchanged beautifully written letters. Alone. Just the two of them. It was truly the sweetest moment. Enjoy this peek into their wedding day!
I still have a date or two open for any 2017 weddings and 2018 is quickly booking!
From the moment we met, I knew that Jadner and Adrienne would be a blast to work for! And once you see their photos you will be able to feel the love that these two have for each other. They chose a beautiful country setting for their wedding day! The Tuthill House in Gardiner, NY offers a rustic but refined place to get married! The ladies got ready at an onsite beautiful home, while the guys got ready in another building right above their beautiful restaurant.
Enjoy this small glimpse into their wedding day!
Check out this spread!!!!!
How many can say that they’ve had their PHOTOGRAPHER start a soul train line??!!! Yup! I did it and I got sooo many great shots!!!
Thank you so much Jadner and Adrienne for entrusting Rachel and myself to capture these life lasting memories!!!!
If you’re getting married, I’d love to take you out for some coffee and learn more about your big day!!!!
It’s an amazing feeling when you walk away from a business relationship with clients to a friendship relationship. I’m so happy to say that even though a couple of months have passed since she has gotten married, Jen and I text and see each other on a regular basis! Jen’s big day was crazy but beautiful. It rained that day but we made it work.
Everything about this union was beautiful. From the fact that she married her childhood friend who lived across the street from her to the blended family that has been created.
If you’ve followed my blog you will recall these two from their fun “basketball” engagement session done over the summer.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the day! WARNING: There are a lot of photos below but I had a lot of favorites. It was hard to narrow these down.
Joy and I went to high school together. I was so excited when she reached out to me to photograph her big day. She looked absolutely stunning and her husband adored her. It was a beautiful September day. You couldn’t have dreamed it any better. Here are some of my favorite photos of the day!
Brittany was my first wedding of the summer season and boy was it hot! And when I say hot, I mean almost passing out from heat exhaustion hot! Seeing as this was an outside wedding and reception, Miss EricaLee learned a few lessons, such as: keeping myself hydrated. I did not stop to drink at all most of the day but in my defense I didn’t want to miss anything.
Despite the heat, it was a beautiful wedding. Here are some of my favorite photos!
Here’s a photo of the bride writing a love note to her soon to be husband!
Lastly, two fun pictures that show how fun this wedding party was!!
I hope all of you enjoyed the holidays! It was a bit busy for me even though I was on vacation from work. I had the opportunity of photographing another session. This time it was a Portrait Session. It was nice to shoot an older person since I had been shooting children recently. Her name was Tierra and she was quite the beaut!
I had a pretty laid back Christmas. One of the gifts that my husband gave to me was an old record player. I love vintage things!
It goes great with our records that are framed on the wall!
For New Years Eve, we celebrated by attending a beautiful wedding at my church. Although I wasn’t the photographer, I was able to snap a few photos that I’m sure she would appreciate.
